Hi,
My wife is applying for an F2 VISA, and the form asks her for her previous US VISA number. The previous US VISA, used for travel 10 years ago, has now expired and cannot be found. So she is thinking of selecting a check-box on the form labelled 'I do not know' (indicating she does not know her previous VISA number). My question - Will selecting this check-box adversely affect her chances of getting the VISA?
Also, the form later asks whether she has lost any VISA's. I read somewhere that a VISA is considered lost only if misplaced when the VISA is still valid. In my wife's case, her VISA was misplaced after it expired. I was wondering whether to answer YES/NO here?
Thanks for your help in advance.
