I have been recently married, and I am planning to pursue my MS next year in USA. I have to get my passport updated, but will inclusion of my husband name create a problem for getting VISA because he is also planning for higher studies at same time??? Kindly answer the question soon.

It will make no difference. You will have to mention your marital status in the Visa application anyway.
