Help regarding DS 160

I'll be applying for my F1 visa very soon for Fall semester entry. The issue is though that I have just changed my home address in the the last 2 weeks, and sold my previous permanent address.I have heard that the home address that has to be filled up on the DS 160 form should at least be 6 months old.
Is this true? If so what should I do?

No such thing. You need to show strong ties to your home country and having a stable, permanent residence that you own is one way to do that.
