Hello,
I was filling the DS-160 and am a little stumped by this question and would appreciate any help/suggestion in this matter.
I am applying for F1 (am on F2 at the moment). The thing is while my program will last for 2 years, my husband is going to be in United States for probably 4-5 more years. He is on a PhD program and I intend to stay in the US with him till he finishes his program.
Please advise whether I should list my intended duration of stay as 2 years or 2 + 4 years.
Also since I have a PhD from US previously, I will not be eligible for OPT, so the OPT 1 year is out of question. Would really really appreciate a prompt response.
