I have a BSc. in Biotechnology and MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Mumbai University in India. I have been working for a multinational pharmaceutical company for the past 3 years as a Product Manager. I wish to pursue a certificate course in Marketing in UCLA which is a 12 month course that provides an Internship opportunity too. It welcomes international students on F-1.
Given that I already have an MBA would this be an issue with my F1 application? I will be able to show the finances. This course does not require GRE but I have taken TOEFL and have a good score. Honestly, I intend to complete this course, take up an internship and at the end of it return to India. I have my entire family in India, no relatives in the US and can only afford to be away for a year or two.
