Need Suggestion Student Visa

Hi
Iam applying for student visa,am planning to book visa interview slot on 12th july for F1 visa
My husband is in Usa,he is on F1 visa,recently applied for H1b visa,his visa application is in process so i can't apply for dependent visa for now so i decided to go with Student visa
I have couple of questions
1)during the visa interview if the counsulate officer ask me why iam applying for student visa why not Dependent visa?? can i tell him that his H1b is in processing or he is in cap gap,i dont think he will get convinced with any of this answers ,can anyone suggest me the best answer for this question
2)if the officer ask me ''tell me reason that you will come back to India after your studies ?? what would be the best answer for this question

am also showing my husband as a secondary sponser and dad as primary sponser

There is a possibility you will get rejected under 214b. You have to prove 3 things to achieve f1.

Family ties in home country to prove that you will return, Financial documents and no violations of previous status or current status.

You family is in US so it will be hard for u to prove that you will return back. IF your husband is on F1 he cannot sponsor another F1. If he is on H1b he can. But If u tell them that you are waiting for h1b they will know that your intentions to apply for f1 is to transfer to h4 after your husbands approval which tells your intentions are not honest in applying for f1 visa and planning on changing it after entering the country. That's a clear denial.
