Hello,
I hope I am posting this in the right place.
I am a 5th year PhD student. My visa expires in May 2014 and I plan to get it extended in Dec 2013 for at least another year or 1.5 yrs.
I am also getting married in Dec 2013.
Could you please guide me on the best route to take to apply for my wife's F2 visa. Is it better to apply for it in Dec 2013 itself or should I have my visa renewed and leave and then have her apply in Jan/Feb 2013?
Also I have a GRA with about 20K annual salary. How much funds do we have to show for annual expenses for her to get the visa? Is her current employer allowed as a sponsor?
What other things should I keep in mind before starting the process?
