Hi all
I had a general question: Is it safe to apply for a F1 visa in a country other than your home country. I am asking this question as I would be travelling to Germany for a year long internship. I am keen on doing my PhD in the US. So, if I do make it to a grad school with full funding next year, then it would be convenient for me to apply for my F1 visa in Germany itself so that I may complete my internship (Which is going to last till the end of July 2014).
Is it advisable to do this?
