F1 to H1 Gap Help - Urgent

Hi All,

I am currently on F1 status. My employer has filed for my h1 through premium processing. However it has not been approved yet and last date to register in school is this friday.

I would like to know what my status would be in case I do not register for school and how would it affect my H1 application.

Check with your employer if he has filed your H1B application using the 20,000 visas for Students who have done their masters as that quota has not been filled yet. check **** **'s website and read the article.

you will have 60 days grace peroid from the date ur OPT expires.
My question is why did u wait till the last minute of not enrolling for classes or else either checking with ur employer to apply ur h1-b before.

anyways dont loose hope try to find any community college and see if they are accepting applications for any program and see how fast they can process ur application
