I received my Bachelor's degree here in the US. I got the F1 visa in 2008 which expired a few months ago.
I am currently doing my Masters at a different institution and hope to graduate in Dec 2014. I am planning on traveling outside the US in March 2014, so I will need a visa to get back to the US, right?
I am planning to go to India this December to get a new visa. What should I be doing to get started?
Since I am at a different institution, I do not qualify for the interview waiver program, right?
I have already done this:
Got a DS 160 confirmation number.
I am trying to apply for a new visa here: and am stuck at the visa payment page. How can I pay for it from the US, or do I have to be in India to finish this application?
Do I have to repay the SEVIS fee?
I will be in India for a maximum of three weeks. Am I being optimistic with having an interview in New Delhi within that time frame?
