I paid my MRV fee for an appointment in Belfast, which I was unable to make so I had to cancel it. I am now trying to reschedule but because the UK Embassies have transitioned to a new system, I'm relying on them getting back to me directly to book me a new appointment.
London have offered me an appointment on Tuesday. I need to know if I can use my MRV fee receipt (which says Belfast at the top, but is unused) at the London Embassy? I've tried calling and emailing numerous times, but nobody is willing to answer my question. The only information I can find online relating to this states that MRV fees are non-transferable (i.e. from person-to-person), but nothing suggests that an MRV fee receipt issued for a Belfast appointment cannot be subsequently used for a London appointment.
Please help. My appointment is in a few days, I'm travelling in a few weeks, and I live at the other end of the country from London, so I really don't want to be turned away!
