Urgent Answer needed! My visa is expiring

Hello everyone,

I recently got a "conditional admission" from university of cleveland, ohio. They needed my GRE and ESL scores. I arrived here and passed the ESL exam, but I failed the GRE. Now the schools is saying they won't give me an admission

My question is, however, how long can I stay here in the US to look for other admission possibilities and stay here legally. how do I determine that ? when i'm no longer maintaining status on I-94.

Which suggests you applied for a tourist visa under false pretenses....not to look for schools but to visit some cousin.....correct?

no, i have a valid F-1 visa, it's not a tourist visa.

Your I-20 should have shown your ESL scores, etc....something else is wrong.....of course, you can, like so many other 'students', seek admission from one of several 'no-namo' 'universities that offer diplomas online in exchange for $$$....

I really want to stay in the states and persuade my studies. Professionally. but as long as visa is concerned, how can I do that?? i was under impression that an online course does not require you to be present here, therefor no I-20, no status?
