Administrative processes - CAEC upate

I applied for an extension to my US student visa and attended an interview in Berlin on 19th June, Unfortunately my visa was not issued during my 4 weeks in Germany, and now I am back in my native Iran waiting for news about my application (considering the fact that there is no US embassy in Iran).
This is really frustrating since even when I check my Visa status in CAEC “ Consular Electronic Application Centre” there is no update after 19th June and it is just written administrative processing .
My question is that is the fact that my status in CAEC website doesn’t get updated means that the case still hasn’t been reviewed?!
does anyone has better suggestion for me to follow up my case?
I would appreciate any suggestion , I am truly desperate ....| Please Help.

Your case will get updated only when it is under final. Processing. There is administrative processing already initiated in your case. Since u belong to Islamic country it may take some time. Normally the wait time is around 60-90 days it can come anytime. Depends in your luck. I have passed 75 days as of now. I have 15 more days before my college extension expires.
