My daughter is in USA and has a valid F1Student visa that will expire in 2015, and she also has a valid B2 visitors visa that will expire in 2017. However, she is a taking a year's break from her studies and plans to return home - she wants to change her major, and she will also be the beneficiary of an F3 immigrant Visa (PD November 2003 ) thru me. She lives in an off campus apartment and is trying to get her stuff sold etc, and would like to stay in USA until mid October. According to university, one must leave USA 30 days after withdrawing classes. This will mean leave by September 21st. Bearing in mind she has a valid B2 visa, can she stay until mid October ?
