Hello everyone,
I obtained my I-20 from University of Colorado,Denver for masters in bioengineering and applied for the student F-1 visa for fall 2013. My case was put under administrative processing and I had no clue about what was happening for more than 2 months. I didnt want to waste my time and I flew to Dubai and I am currently enrolled with one of the multi national petrochemical company here stationed in Dubai. After seeing the market, A career in petroleum Engineering appears more lucrative for me now and as I wasnt able to go to Denver for this august I asked my program co-ordinator to defer my admit to January. I got my visa already for 4 years.
Now I would like to apply to better universities for next fall intake for masters in petroleum Engineering. My profile being 314/340 GRE, TOEFL-114/120 and a CGPA of 7.57/10 from BITS-PILANI,India. My query is if I get an admit from another university. What is the procedure to apply for a different visa?. Will I have face any problem? Is this step in career path appreciated?.
My regards to all.
