I got my OPT when a completed my associates degree, started working in IT company right after as a web designer. Then transferred my credits back to my original school for Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. Now my OPT is expiring and i have 2 month gap between H1 application which is in April and my OPT expiration date. Asked around a lot but cannot get STEM extension because the degree i got OPT is not STEM degree. And the I-20 is not STEM related. My friend thinks i could transfer my OPT to the school where i got bachelors degree but i how can that be possible. Is there a way to transfer OPT to another school or is there any other way around? The facts are that i have Computer Science Degree and work in IT company so i am really frustrated.
