Transfer from one University to another after 1st semester - Interantional Student
Hi I am Kiran, planning to purse masters in CS in USA. I got admit from one University- wichita. I have confirmed the VISA slot also, now I got admit from UCMO also.
I am interested in pursuing in UCMO because of low tuition fee.
1. As I have already booked VISA Slot from wichita, can i change the university and go for another university for interview?
2. I have heard that after landing in USA, if I ask for transfer from VISA approved University, there are higher chances that that university might delete my SEVIS record which would put me in problem. Is that true?
3. Can I transfer after completing 1st semester in wichita and goto UCMO? what is the procedure for that?
4. what are the pro and con's of transferring from universities?
5. if i transfer in future after completing Masters, will my H1B visa will be effected?
