I am an F1 visa student in the United State from Nigeria, I came into the country for my undergraduate study. Now am undergoing my graduate study program (just done with my first semester as an undergrad). I initially intended to travel home for the Christmas in honoring the request of my loving mother, but due to my inability to meet up my earlier visa interview appointment due to school circumstance beyond my control. My plan now is to make the journey within the first two weeks of 2014 summer, as I will not be given more than two or three weeks travel leave ( a time frame that will not permit me to undergo visa renewal application and processing while at home), because of various research activities I need to embark upon with my major Professor come the summer. My new appointment date for the interview is January 7th, 2014, but now been briefed by a colleague of mine of the risk involved in going out of the united states for visa renewal application and process, I am writing to make inquiry in regards to the chances of having my visa renewed successfully in a country other than my country of nativity.
