Hi,
I received my EAD card a few days back and just noticed that there was a clerical error in the 'Valid from' and 'Card Expiry'.
The validity should have been from Feb 2014 - Feb 2015 but it was issued from Feb 2013- Feb 2014. I have contacted the USCIS help desk and initiated a correction process.
I know that it was only a clerical error as the dates on my I-20 are reflected correctly.
Now my question is can I take up employment with this faulty card?
And what course of action will be taken by USCIS to correct this?
Would really appreciate any help!!
