name in my passport

actually my firstname is SAKETHRAM and my surname is SALADI.in all of my documents my name is as SALADI SAKETHRAM whereas when it comes to my passport it is printed as SALADI as my surname and my firstname as SAKETH RAM.i got an extra space between SAKETH AND RAM which will not be der in my other documents.
so can you please tell me whether it is a big problem during visa and when i apply for universities in us and if it was a big issue what is the procedure to change it in my passport
