My husband is on Green Card and I am on F-1 OPT effective from July 7, 2014 - July 6, 2015. We have not yet applied for my Green Card as my husband is eligible for citizenship around June, 2015. We are considering options for how can I stay in the US legally after July 6, 2015. The best case that we can think of is to wait for his citizenship, and hopefully get the H1-B sponsored next year. Just in case, my application is rejected, what are the other available options? Shall we start the Greencard process for me now? If we do, how long will it take for the approval and would I still be able to apply for H1-B?
