This is my situation :
I graduated in Dec 2013 and got my 1st OPT in Jan 2014 and is valid through Jan 2015
In April my current employer filed for a H1B petition and I was approved with effective date Oct 1 2014
Now there is a chance that I may be let go before Oct 1'st .
MY Question:
If I am let go before oct 1 and my employer withdraws the petition, will I go back to F1 status with OPT or what would be my status?
