Hi all
i have a question regarding the i20 CIP code. I applied for my OPT last week and got an email from USCIS that the application has been received. I just noticed today that the CIP code in my I20 was incorrect. Mine is a STEM degree but the CIP code printed in my I20 is not a STEM designated degree. What can I do about this. Do I have to ask the USCIS to withdraw my application? If so, what is the procedure. Will it affect the STEM extension in the future?. Has someone else been in a similar situation? If the school issues a new I20 can I resend all documents to USCIS. In that case will I have to again send a 380$ cheque?
