I need immediate specific instructions about reinstatement via travel!!
This is the second time I fall out of status due to unauthorized drop classes. After I submitted required documents for reinstatement my school's international student affairs told me my case is not a good option to do a regular reinstatement option, so they suggested reinstatement via travel, but they did not give me specific instruction about what to do exactly. In the email they wrote me it said: "Your best option is to do reinstatement via travel, since you still have an active F-1 visa on passport, you need to go home and re-enter with a new initial I-20 for next quarter." In my understanding, I need to drop all my current classes, re-apply with my current university like I am a new student applying for universities.
But my school does not post any specific information about what to do exactly, all I know for now is I need go back to my home country to receive a new I-20. I am currently enrolled with Strayer University.
If anyone know what I need to do exactly, please let me know as soon as possible, I will highly appreciate your help and patience.

International F-1 students transferring in from a U.S.
institution must hold a current SEVIS I-20 and be in good
standing. An international student with a terminated SEVIS
record must apply for reinstatement with the previous school
prior to transfer to Strayer University. A student may also
apply with Strayer University for “Reinstatement via Travel”,
requiring the student to travel to their home country before
being issued a new I-20 to return to Strayer University.
It should be noted that applicants (i.e., students) in the
United States may not be able to change classification to F-1
(Student). Requests for such changes are adjudicated on a
case-by-case basis, by the United States Citizenship and
Immigration Service (USCIS). Students seeking to apply to
change from B to F-1 or F-2 to F-1 cannot register for classes
prior to approval from the USCIS. They must receive
approval for a change of status to F-1 from USCIS prior to
beginning full-time degree coursework.
