My wife applied for conversion from H4 to F1 in the month of Sep-14 and got an RFE. USCIS is asking for more information. She already studied 3 semesters in the college.
We recently heard about Obama's reforms in immigration policies and we want to wait and see if we will get those benefits.
She will be eligilbe as STEM candidate. If she gets that benefit then there is no need for F1 visa since she can work with H4 status and also my 140 got approved so she can be eligible under my EAD status as well(As per Obama's new regulations).
Is this a right thing to do or do we need to continue with F1 application by providing documents
If we don't proceed with F1 application with in the time line what will happen to the fees paid, can we use it for future application?
