6 months f1 visa in tuck school of business, darthmouth

Hi ,

I got tuck school of businees as study abroad for my mba course. But in contrary to usual exchange j1 visa, tuck gives me 6months f1 visa. Could any 1 tell me, if there are posiibilities to convert this f1 to working visa after the course? My course starts from july to dec in tuck. Kindky help.

It's impossible to convert the F1 to a work visa. Your only hope would be to apply for the OPT after graduation but you need to be enrolled in the school for at least a full academic year so 6 months isn't enough. If you want to work in the US, use your 6 months to interview and find a job that will sponsor an H1b visa. The H1b visa is the work visa, but you'll have to go home before you can start working in the US, because the H1b takes a while to process.
