Will apply for program extension in July since my I-20 expires in September and I need more time to finish my studies. After the extension is through I will travel with a new travel signature to my home country for a couple of weeks and will bring my boyfriend who is an American citizen. I'm wondering though if there could be any problem to have brought him to my home country when it comes to the border control? Are you "allowed" to have American boyfriends/girlfriends when it comes to F-1 visas? Might it be looked upon as I will have an intention to stay in the US because of him? Can we split up the border control so we don't appear to be a couple and avoid questions?
We will also get married in August in the US, but I guess it is best to wait 60 or 90 days before I apply for an adjustment of status because it can get denied if it is done 0-60 days after the last entry? Or does it not count like a last entry and more like re-entry with no need of waiting if you have been in status for a couple of years?
