VISA obtained with Wrong date in I20, URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hi, I have recently applied and obtained by F1 Visa for my Masters degree in Arlington. After going through all the steps and obtaining the VISA, I have realized that the program start date in by I20 was wrong. My program starts in June and is an 11 month course. In the I20, it is stated to start in late August. Thus as per the VISA, i am not allowed to enter the US before 30 days from the wrong I20 date. This means with my current VISA, i cannot enter the US in time for my session thats starts in the first week of June. The university has issued a new I20 with the proper date which is on its way to my country. Please advice how i may proceed now. Do i need to apply for VISA again? I am very nervous as it is very close to my programs start date already.

Call Embassy

I think you shud call the embassy to ask. Because such kind of thing might just require a restamp of visa on your passport no need to be reinterviewed again.
