F1 Visa issues

Hi ,

I have f1 visa from Jan 15 to next 5 years , I differed my admission to May 2015 and tried to join school from May intake and I came to US in April but due to family emergency I had to go back to India before enrolling into school and the school said they can defer my admission to different semester ,now I am back in India to take care of my family member .

My Question : I am trying to apply for 2016 summer in May which is one year from now ,do I have to go for f1 stamping again or I can use same visa to enter USA ?

When I landed in USA at Texas they did not give me I-94 but I looked it up online and USCIS have my I-94 records ,do I still need paper copy of I-94 or the systems changed and everything is online ?

No issues!

1. You may require another visa/stamping as it exceeds 6 months of staying outside US. F visa gets invalid if you are missing from US soil for more than the designated length contiguously

Visa is your document to enter country. If thats fair & legit and the school provides the requisite I-20 for May 2016, then you are good to go. As you might remember CBP checks both visa as well as your I-20.

2. I-94 is fully electronic. No paper copies. Your previous travel (upto 5 years I believe) is reflected online.
