Can i comeback to my home country?

Hi i have one question. I came us for travel visa (b2) with my family and me
and my sister has changed our visa status to student visa (f1). Now i am
attending in community college and i want to come back to my home country
which is mongolia. People said if you go to your home country you can't come
back to US and the immigration won't obtain your new visa. What should i do?

Is your F-1 in status? Are you fully complying with its terms?

If not (say you dropped out of college, are attending a different college, or are working illegally) then you can expect to be denied entry upon your return.
