Rejected L1 Blanket - How does it impact my F1 Visa application

Hi,

My L1 Blanket got rejected four years back. In the DS 160 form, they have asked me to explain the reason for rejection.
I wanted to know how does this rejection affect my chances of getting a F1 Visa.

It depends on why your L-1 was rejected.

The form stated "was not clearly approvable under section 8 CFR 214.2 (I)(ii)(D) and INA 101(a)(15)(L) and was refused under section 221(g) of the INA"
They gave a blue form. And mentioned the required responsibilties/operational scope does not qualify for an L1 blanket.
And someone locally from US can be hired for the job. Hence was rejected.
