F2 Query

I have got my F1 visa a few days back and my term begins on aug 9th. However, since my wife is going to finish her Phd in India, earlier that expected, I now wish to take her along as a dependent. Does this mean that I will have to get a new i20 (Since the existing i20 mentions no dependents)? Also, does that mean that I will have to get a new visa?

Would appreciate any help.

You need to meet with your International Students Department so they can reissue you a I-20 with your dependents listed.

You won't need to apply for a new visa, just her.
