Travelled on B1/B2 status before and now applying for F!

Hi Friends,

In July 2014, I had applied for Visitors' Visa with my Parents and it was approved. I then traveled to US in September 2014 alone to appear for my CPA Exams and stayed there for 4 months. Attempted twice for CPA Exams and then returned to India in Jan 2015. After coming back, I gave gre, toefl and planned for Masters in US and applied for Fall 2015. I am going to apply for F1 visa within a month or so. Now, my doubt is as I have traveled to USA and stayed there for 4 months, what all questions are expected and how do I need to answer them. Will my travelling and staying there for 4 months and now applying for F1 visa pose a problem for me? I had stayed at my friend's place for those 4 months. Is there anyone with the same profile as mine?

Your odds of receiving your F-1 are higher than someone who has not traveled to the United States before. Be prepared to fully account for the time you spent in the United States before.

As with all F visa applicants, they will be most focused on your intent to not abandon your foreign residence, and the arrangements you have made to defray the expenses of your visit.
