Sponsor from Abroad (other than US)

Hi.

I am willing to apply for F1 student visa from Pakistan and my brother is ready to sponsor me who is residing in the UK.
I want to ask few questions ?

1. Can my brother sponsor me since he is not living in Pakistan ?
2. What are the required documents he needs to provide ?
