Hi,
Am applying for COS from H4 to F1 this month, and will be joining college from july on H4 Visa. Assuming I receive I-539 Receipt this month end (say june 30th) and my F1 COS is approved in December, which would officially be my F1 start date? June 30th or December?
Also my H4 Visa is expiring on Sept - 30, So if my COS is rejected - I Would be Out of status on the same day and would have to leave the country in the middle of college.
Am confused b/w Going to india for stamping (If F1 stamping is rejected, it would be challening for me to come back on existing h4 as it expires on Sept 30th), & applying for COS H4 to F1..
