In short, I will be studying at Oxford in the UK for one month (mid July to Mid August). I am currently in the US and and asylee (granted asylum). I have a travel document but I dont know if I need a short term student visa. UK site asks if I have a passport or travel document from the US. But also gives me choice of refugee/stateless. Not sure which one I fall under. Then UK explains what travel documents are acceptable
I think mine counts as the 1951 convention travel document but the site doesnt answer if this is acceptable.
Any advice please. I've contacted consulate here in NYC but cant get a straight answer as this is considered legal advice. I've also contacted the school which says theyve never seen the situation.
