Hi,

My husband is an F1 visa holder. I have applied for F2 visa . While filling the DS-160 form i gave the principal applicant name as my name. Is this wrong? I have already scheduled an interview. Kindly reply as soon as possible.

The prinicipal applicant will be the person holding the F1 status. You are filling for F2 which is dependent on the principal (F1) applicant . you should have your own sevis number and i20 though . hope this helps..
