Hi,
I recently applied for admission in a University in Virginia. I am currently on F2 visa staying with my husband. I wish to know when I get I-20 from University is it better to go to India(home country) or Canada (third country) for applying for my F1 visa. Also in another consequence if I do not wish to travel to India for saving expenses, which city is it better to apply from Canada. In how many days do they process the visa and give it back to the applicant. Also how should one apply for Canada visa being in US. Should I be applying for travel visa? If any one has experienced this please advise me. Looking forward for a reply.
