All CPT, OPT in Second Masters
Hello,
I am currently working towards MBA Finance from a (not so reputed) college, and I have exhausted all 360 days on CPT. Now I am planning on going for MBA Supply Chain from another (much reputed) college which will start in Fall 2016. I understand that there is a rule of 1 OPT per degree. So in order to still be able to obtain OPT in my second MBA, I was thinking to continue with CPT in the current one (as I must continue working alongside) and just switch to the second college in Fall 2016. I know this will void my OPT in the current college, but my question is will it also void the OPT in the second MBA?
I will graduate in Summer 2016 and start the second MBA in Fall 2016 so I do not stay out-of-status for long. Please help me decide how to proceed.
