Change of field of study
Hi All,
Need some advice/suggestions.
I am currently on F1 status. Although I have a valid F1 visa for next few years, I changed my school from medicine prep to english prep (to save tuition money). I have to visit India in few months.
- Can I return to US without a problem even though I changed the course from USMLE prep to English?
- What can be the best response in case I get asked why I switched from one field to another? Especially one of them being less related to my field?
Looking for options to figure out if I have to switch back to original course, get another i-20 before I visit India.
Appreciate any ideas/help.
