F2 to F1 Change for status for Fall 2015

My case is now reviewing

After 5 months, they changed my the status check notice. It is now showing that they received my correspondence and reviewing my application stuff. If they need anything more they would let me know by mail. Does anybody knows how long its after reviewing application to make a decision?

How did you get information about this change? I had put in a request for expedite but it got denied.

Maybe it got denied because your case has already been reviewed and ready to be approved hopefully.

I hope that is the case. My status has not changed to review even though it was received on March 9 by VSC, which is before akash09.

Many people said that their status changed from received to approved directly. Nothing in between. Hope to hear good news this week.

I called to the USCIS customer service center today and got a reply that my case which is sent to California is still in the process.
And they could not tell me how long it will take to process the case.

I felt that I'd better prepare for the deferral. :<

I submitted my application to f1 with e-file on jun 1. Vermont center handle my case. But now my case is still pending!

Did you call vermont or california center?
Is it for Elis or paper cases?

This is really surprising as my case was received by them in March and I have no update on it. (Paper application to VSC)
