can i travel india with new passport?

hello every one,
could some one please help me out the problem that was bugging my mind from many days, i am on F1 status in usa ,my indian passport was stolen,i applied and got a new passport, i have a travelling plans to india ,i am aware that i should get my visa stamping done ,back in india to re-enter usa, all i am worried is will i face problems anywer during my trip as i have no usa visa label on my passport,if so what are they and please suggest me the clear way...... your response will be very helpful
