Hi,

Hello everyone. Happy new year.

I am just wondering if there is a way to track the OPT approval times
for the CA center. I have applied for my OPT on November 16th.
On ucics website it still says that it is under processing.

Is anyone in the same situation ? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

There is also a link to processing times. For example, currently the california service center is processing OPT applications (I765) with application date of Oct 18, 2005. Its updated every two-three weeks I think.

Thanks D. Hopefully I will get my OPT in the next two to three weeks
otherwise I will apply for an Interm EAD on Feb 16th (after 90 days from
the date of application).
