f1 visa interviw next week..pls help

hi friends,
I am due for f1 visa interview next week in new delhi.
I applied fr uni in Anaheim in bba for august intake.
pls note -:
I have 5yrs study gap. does it matter??
my last study was diploma in business from Australia. can they object y I am applying fr bba in us?
does it really based on our communication skills & professional performance to get visa as I heard frm few videos or its myth?
what are the things should I worry about?
my few other mated got refused last week (they were little poor in speaking English m not sure if it might b the reason) ;(
anything pls help me getting this interview positive as its so important..
