H4 to F1 COS - my husband on H1 RFE
Hi,
This is the current situation-
My husband has recently moved from Company A to B. And applied to H1 transfer which is in RFE (requires more documentation from employer).
I'm right now on H4 and I recently got admission in a university.
My questions:
1) What are the risks if I apply for F1 ? Is it a good idea to wait till my Husbands H1 transfer is successful?
2) My H4 is valid till 2017 and his employer details are not mentioned on my H4. Will there be a H4 transfer along with his H1?
3) Can I apply for CPT after 1 year of F1? (He did not apply for GC yet)
4) What will be the impact of STEM decision on my OPT after two years from now? I understand that at present the judge vacated the 2008 rule allowing the 17-month extension till Feb 2016.
