OPT E.A.D card Quandry
Hello Everyone,
This is my first time posting here and I would appreciate any help. I graduated from University in the Northeast U.S this past May. I return to my home country for the summer after having applied for OPT prior to my departure.
-I was approved for OPT June 16th.
-I received a letter from USCIS (July 7th postmarked) stating that they were unable to produce a card because the photo I submitted had a glare on the face.
-I resubmitted this photo after receiving the notification on August 13th immediately after finding this out. My current status on USCIS says that my correspondence was received and that it is being reviewed.
-I have a job offer and my dead-line for employment is September 2nd 2015.
Can anyone share if they have been in a similar position? Or have been approved but unforeseen circumstances came up?
