Hello,
I came to USA in fall 2009 as an undergrad transfer student (F1 visa). I spent 3 semesters as undergrad student here, then i got a master's degree in the next 5 semesters, following which i applied and got accepted into a PhD program. But 2 semesters into the PhD program i decided to get a second masters. I have been in the states for 6 years now and my visa expired last year. I will be done with my second masters either this december or i can push it back one more semester. I have couple of questions about visa renewal.
1. Is it advisable for me to go to my home country and renew my visa in december and graduate in may 2016?
2. Or should i wait for change in visa (hopefully H1-B) to visit my home country?
I have studied at 3 different universities and have a clean record till date. Any comments/suggestions are welcome. Thanks a lot!
Anna
