Received F1 Approval Notice with Future Valid/Start Date.

Good Morning All,

My wife received her H4 to F1 approval notice in mail yesterday. She is currently in her 3rd sem. In the approval notice the Valid From date says 12/11/2015(which is a future date) and Valid for Duration of Status.

Can some one please tell me why she received a FUTURE Valid/start date? Has anyone ran into these type of situation ?

Please advice. Thanks!!

What was the start date or 'report to school' date on the I-20? They may have used that.
