Ok, this is a bit of an unusual situation and I'm not sure what to do.
My friend and I live in different countries, both of them not the US. He wants to study English in the US for a few weeks, and we also want to spend time together. So the deal is, we chose a time when I will be in the states for my business (on a B-1 visa), and he enrolled in an English class. I paid for the class, and when we're there he will stay with me and I will take care of expenses.
When he is filling his DS-160, there's a question about paying for the trip. So that would be me paying. How do we proceed after that? All the instructions I see seem to be applicable for a US sponsor who should fill the I-134. Should I send any letter/documents? Or maybe this whole field is for US residents only, and I shouldn't be mentioned in the DS-160?
Thanks!
