Holder of b1/b2 visa - applying for m1

Hi Guys,

I had recently applied for B1/B2 visa in the month of April 2015 through my company for business visit and got 10yrs B1/B2 visa but unfortunately i resigned from that company before i could travel. Now i have planned to do short course (40 days) in Florida and the school is helping me with 1-20 form to process M1 visa.
My question is

1. Will they cancel my b1/b2 visa ? i hope not
2. The said course is self sponsored so will i face problem in getting visa

Would appreciate your help.
